An exciting opportunity is available in a leading private hospital for a Clinical Specialist Sonographer to join their radiology team
Clinical Duties:
- Perform high-quality
ultrasound scans in line with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Deliver excellent patient
care and maintain a professional, compassionate environment.
- Manage daily workload to
ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Complete daily/weekly quality
assurance checks on ultrasound equipment and report faults as required.
- Assist the Radiology Services
Manager with service improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all MPN policies,
including Health & Safety, Infection Control, Waste Management and Incident
Reporting.
- Support positive teamwork and
uphold the MPN Mission Statement.
- Assist with administrative
tasks as needed to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Team Leadership &
Training
- Support staff development,
performance review and continuous professional development.
- Participate in training and
supervision of new team members.
- Keep up to date with current
radiology practice and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Adhere to HR policies and
procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Radiography Degree or equivalent
- Be CORU registered
- 5 years desired, not essential.
- MSC desired, not essential
- The successful candidate should have initiative and
excellent communications skills with a motivational people approach.
